E-Scooter -Assembly, Static & Drive Testing

This advanced electric scooter training setup includes a 48 V, 1 kW OEM-grade BLDC/PMSM motor and motor controller.It is supplied with a 48 V, 30 Ah LFP or NMC battery pack for practical vehicle integration.

 

The setup also includes an e-scooter chassis, assembly components, wire harnessing kit, assembly kit  and a 12 V DC–DC converter. Users can assemble the complete electric vehicle and understand the function of each subsystem. A dedicated test control panel enables safe and systematic static testing of the assembled vehicle. Users can measure important motor, controller, battery, and vehicle operating parameters. The measured data can be recorded, analysed, and displayed in graphical form.

 

Pre-check testing can be performed before energising the motor and drivetrain.Users can estimate rotor pole pairs, Hall-sensor frequency, and motor speed during the initial testing stage.

 

The setup provides practical exposure to CAN and RS485 communication protocols. Users can study message identifiers, data frames, addressing methods, and communication formats. Custom embedded code can be developed to communicate with the motor controller through CAN or RS485.The same communication methods can be used to acquire battery-pack and BMS operating parameters. Users can evaluate motor-controller performance, battery condition, faults, and real-time vehicle data.

 

A web-based dashboard can also be developed to monitor, display, and interact with vehicle parameters remotely
